My name is Shane Gossman. I operate a small shop called Bulldog Custom Chrome in Fort Collins and live in scenic Estes Park, Colorado.  I have been a huge fan of motorcycles, hot rods, classic cars and trucks my entire life.  My dad can be blamed for this. When my brother and I were quite young he would take us for motorcycle rides.  We were not yet strong enough to hang on riding behind him, so he would put a small helmet on our heads and put us in front of him, seated safely at the back of the gas tank with his arms forming a safety cage around us as he managed the handlebars.  He would take us to car shows and point out certain classics as we saw them on the streets.  He would speak a lot about the Galaxie 500 convertible he was driving when he met my mom.  He had a special passion for ’55-’57 T-birds, Ford hardtop retractables, and Studebaker Hawks.

 This love of old motorcycles, cars and trucks is a sickness for which we do not want a cure.  What attracts most of us is the beautiful simplicity of the mechanics, the flowing body lines, and of course, the massive amounts of chrome.  Chrome on a vehicle is much like a big diamond engagement ring on the finger of a newly engaged young woman.  It is a beautiful asset, a finishing touch, a testament to her beauty.
